Attila

Hello, everyone! My name is Attila, and I am from Hungary. We couldn`t meet at Boldogkovaralja, but I hope that everyone has enjoyed the summer sun of the Be Prepared! project. I was the guy, who tried - but not tired - to keep every organizations alive until the start of the training. Awfully I couldn`t see the fruit of our work, but I heard from Imre that it was great, and I really wish, that we will work together in the future. So, my duties was writing the project, liaisoning the HQ, and keeping contact with every person who has answered our advertisements.

I like history, IT, languages, and tea.

Did you know about the help what the Council of Europe gives to our activities in youth work and training?
The European Youth Centre Budapest started its work in Hungary in 1995. It welcomes participants from all over Europe and beyond.
It is a meeting place, training and conference centre and a knowledge centre on non-formal and human rights education. It provides an ideal environment for international co-operation,
shared learning, youth participation and youth workers’ training for young people active in local, national and European youth work coming from all over Europe.
It is also a place for the development of youth policies in cooperation with associations, politicians, civil servants, researchers and professionals in youth work and training.
The educational philosophy of the European Youth Centre Budapest is based on the principle that young people should be actively involved in all matters concerning them and that interpersonal relations between its peoples are the guarantee to create a peaceful and culturally diverse Europe.

Weather

The weather in this summer is so hot. As we know in this moment we are lucky with the timing of our training . The weather is changeable in Hungary now. Generally it is warm (25-35 Celsius) and sunny but please prepare to rain and colder and windy weather too. Please bring a hat or something what save your head from the sun and some milk or lotion for protection at least 15 SPF and do not forget your sunglasses.

Training exercises and tools

While spending time together, people use to share stories and experiences. We'll have a journey of games, training activities and simulation at BePrepared - so let's share some hints of  methodology and useful ideas. Please bring with you 2 to 5 concrete exercises, games or other type of training activity, each no longer than 10 minutes, optimal for 12-30 young participants. You will have the opportunity to test your "package" in the group. The equipment you use for that shall not be more than you can bring with you.

Less is better this time. Surprise us, traveller! :)
