Did you know about the help what the Council of Europe gives to our activities in youth work and training?
The European Youth Centre Budapest started its work in Hungary in 1995. It welcomes participants from all over Europe and beyond.
It is a meeting place, training and conference centre and a knowledge centre on non-formal and human rights education. It provides an ideal environment for international co-operation,
shared learning, youth participation and youth workers’ training for young people active in local, national and European youth work coming from all over Europe.
It is also a place for the development of youth policies in cooperation with associations, politicians, civil servants, researchers and professionals in youth work and training.
The educational philosophy of the European Youth Centre Budapest is based on the principle that young people should be actively involved in all matters concerning them and that interpersonal relations between its peoples are the guarantee to create a peaceful and culturally diverse Europe.
